April 6, 2017 - March is officially Texas History Month for the state of Texas and the William Carroll Crawford Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas took their March meeting to share the celebration with the public.

April 5, 2017 - Perhaps you sent a lovely card, or sit quietly in a chair, perhaps you sent a floral piece, if so we saw it there, perhaps you spoke the kindest words, as any friend could say, perhaps you were not there at all, just thought of us that day. Whatever you did to console our hearts, we thank you so much whatever the part.

April 4, 2017 - Care and Share in San Augustine has been delivering 135 bags of food and produce to the Chireno Community on the 4th Thursday since May 2014. We will began delivering on the 4th Wednesday, April 26th, between 2:00 and 4:30.

April 3, 2017 - April is Child Abuse Prevention & Awareness Month. Great work is being done in Shelby County but during this important time, we’re reminded that child abuse is just that…preventable. We all must work together to educate our community.
