August 8, 2016 - All Senior Citizens (65 years or older) who reside in the Center ISD School District & Retired Personnel may receive their free general admission athletic pass for the 2016-2017 school year upon request. Picture ID passes will be issued on Monday, August 8th - Friday, August 19th from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Center ISD Administration Office, 107 PR 605, Center, Texas.
August 8, 2016 - Center ISD Employees, Substitute Teachers that have been approve by the School Board and Volunteers that have completed appropriate paper work for the 2016 – 2017 school year can have theirs ID’s made on Monday, August 8th – Friday, August 19 from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. at the Administration Office.

August 4, 2016 - The Center Independent School District offers career and technical education programs in Agricultural Animal Science, Agricultural Plant Systems, Agriculture Mechanics, Arts, A/V and Communication Technology, Business & Financial Education, Construction Technology, Health Care Science Technology, Hospitality & Tourism, Information Technology and Trade and Industrial Education. Admission to these programs is based on interest and aptitude.
August 2, 2016 - I hope that you are having a terrific summer. As we get closer to the beginning of school I wanted to inform you about some new ways we at Center Middle School are going to try and communicate with you this upcoming school year. We at CMS are constantly trying to improve communication with you, our school community. With that being said we have decided to introduce two new communication tools to go along with all of our traditional forms of communication.
July 29, 2016 - Children need healthy meals to learn. Center ISD offers healthy meals every school day. Breakfast costs $1.25; lunch costs $2.50 and $2.70 at the High School. Your children may qualify for free meals or for reduced-price meals. Reduced-price is $0.30 for breakfast and $0.40 for lunch. If you received a notification letter that a child is directly certified for free meals, do not complete an application. Let the school know if any children in the household attending school are not listed in the letter.
July 28, 2016 - Center ISD will be holding their annual Substitute Orientation on Wednesday, August 3rd from 8 AM to 12 Noon at the High School Library.
