July 18, 2016 - School supply lists for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade will be available at parent meetings and during 'Meet the Teacher' before the beginning of the school year.  Lists will be posted on the app, CMS webpage, as well as sent to media as soon as they are available. 

July 14, 2016 - Roughrider Football Camp will be held July 21st and 22nd from 8:00am to 10:00am. Camp is for incoming 7th and 8th graders. Cost will be $25/students and will be held at the Roughrider Stadium. The camp will give these young men a great jump on fundamentals, teamwork, and Roughrider Football for the upcoming season. July 12, 2016 - A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of Center Independent School District (CISD) was held on Thursday, July 11, 2016 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Center Independent School District Administration Board Room located at located at 107 Private Road 605 in Center, Texas  75935.

July 8, 2016 - Registration forms for the Lady Roughrider Volleyball Camp can be picked up at Intermediate, Middle and High School Campuses. The camp will be held from July 11 - 14 from 8:00am to 12:00pm, and will be held at the Center High School Gym. The camp will be open to incoming 5th and 9th graders, each student will be $30. The camp will promote individual fundamentals, team concept and competitive enthusiasm. T-shirts will be given to each participant.

July 7, 2016 - The CHS Alumni Association is accepting nominations for the Hall of Honor award which will be presented during the CHS Alumni Association meeting on Saturday September 17th.  Please mail nomination forms to CHS Hall of Honor P O Box 1622 Center, Tx 75935. Nominations must be received by Monday August 15th.
