Center Intermediate Places 2nd Overall at Distric Meet

January 27, 2016 - Center Intermediate 4th and 5th grade competed in UIL Academics in Carthage Saturday, January 23, 2016. It was a very competitive district meet with Henderson, Carthage, Rusk and Tatum participating. Center Intermediate ended up placing 2nd overall.

Center High School Senior Parents Meeting

January 26, 2016 - Parents/guardians of members of the Center High School Class of 2016 are invited to attend a senior/parent meeting scheduled for Monday, Feb. 1st in the high school cafetorium. The meeting will begin at 5:45 p.m. and attendees will be given information on senior spring events as well as financial aid information. Varsity Roughriders Victorious Over Eagles

January 24, 2016 - Center Boys Varsity Basketball team played against Rusk in a head to head game ending with Riders the victorious over the Eagles 65-60. Points scored were by J. Evans (15), O. Evans (13), D. McGee (9), K. Parks (8), T. Roland (6), A. Craig (5), J. Nash (4), S. Barnes (3), and D. Thedford (2).

Lady Rider Basketball Teams Sweep Gary

January 20, 2016 - The Lady Riders swept their games against Gary with a Varsity and Jr. Varsity win. The varsity team won 39 to 27 on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at home. Points were scored by Nichols (9), Hightower (8), Hicks (7), Hubbard (5), Handy (4), Eberlan (4), and Bolton (2). Gary points were by Youngblood (12), Dawson (4), Tompkins (4), Bell (3), McClelland (2), and Mayo (2).
