Help Restock the Shelves of the Shelby County Children's Advocacy Center

November 16, 2015 - Center Intermediate School (CIS) community service group, CR3 (Community, Roughriders, Respectful, & Responsible) Service, has elected to hold a "supply" drive to restock the shelves of our Shelby County Children's Advocacy Center.

Items needed are books, movies (G or PG rated), craft supplies, and toys. Your donation is greatly appreciated!

November 16, 2015 - A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of Center Independent School District (CISD) was held on Thursday, November 12, 2015 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Center ISD Administration Board Room located at 107 Private Road 605 Center, Texas 75935.

1. Call Meeting to Order and Establish a Quorum

James Greer called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and declared a quorum.

Roughrider Playoff Game Schedule

November 15, 2015 - Center will play in the Area Playoff Game November 20, 2015 at 7:30pm, Center vs. Fairfield, at Lobo Stadium, Longview, Texas. Center will be the visiting team. Tickets will be $8 for Adults $5 for Students. No pre-sale!!!

Coffee with Coach Bowman Nov 11th, Roughrider Football Talk Time

November 10, 2015 - The last Coffee with the Coach is November 11th. Come join the Athletic Director and Head Football Coach Barry Bowman at the Center ISD Administration building each Wednesday morning from 6:30am to 7:30am. During this time, you can enjoy a cup of coffee while viewing game film and talking Roughrider football with the coach.

How Can JCC Help You?

November 10, 2015 - The Center High School Junior Chamber of Commerce (JCC) Club has over 131 members this year! Since September they have performed over 550 documented community service hours.

CHS Sales Playoff Shirts

Novemebr 9, 2015 - Center High School is selling Football Playoff Long Sleeve t-shirts in black or purple. Click here for the order form. Turn in form and money to your front office. Order forms and money will be picked up at all campuses on Thursday morning.

T-shirts will be dropped off at all campuses on Friday morning or they can be picked up at the High School. Our first order will be 200 shirts. We will order more if necessary, but they may not be available on Friday.

CISD/Community Informational Meeting: Dyslexia, Related Disorders

What: Educational program concerning Dyslexia and related disorders.
Who: Parents/Guardians, Educators, Community Members.
When: Thursday, November 12 at 6pm.
Where: Center Intermediate School Library.

Please come if you are interested in learning more about dyslexia.

Luciana Barr, District Dyslexia Coordinator for Center ISD will provide information. Questions will be welcome.
