Center ISD Summmer Meals Program Dates

June 16, 2015 - There was some confusion with the previously released summer school meal schedule. The information below should clear up any remaining concerns.

June 3-25 @CMS Breakfast 7:30-8 and Lunch 10:30-11

June 15-July2 @CHS --sack breakfast and lunches will be brought over for June 15-23 - Breakfast 7:45-8:30 and Lunch 11:15-12

July 6-30 @CES and FLM Breakfast 7:30-8:30 and Lunch 10:45-12

Center ISD 2014-15 Service Award Recognition

June 7, 2015 - Center ISD handed out Service Award pens recognizing the years of service for faculty and staff. Also recognized were those retiring this year.

Summer Mobile Book Program A Success at Center ISD

June 3, 2015 - The Summer Book Mobile's maiden voyage was a success. We visited all the neighborhoods on our list and checked out lots of books.

We will restock and be ready for next Tuesday.

We went to 7 different neighborhoods and reached 85 kids. There were 132 books checked out on the first day! I can't imagine what next week and the weeks to come will be like.

Center ISD Moblie Summer Reading Program

June 1, 2015 - This summer, Center ISD will have a Book Mobile delivering books available to check out just like our FLM, CES, CIS and CMS campus libraries!

Our Book Mobile locations and times are as follows:

*Pecan Grove - 9:45-10:15
*Hidden Creek Trailer Park - 10:20-10:50
*Park East Apartments- Bridges St. - 10:55-11:25
*Collier Street Mobile Home Park - 11:30-11:45
*Holly Creek on San Augustine St. - 11:50-12:05
*Arcadia Road - 12:10-12:40

Center Athletics Summer Workout Program

June 1, 2015 - The Center ISD Athletic Department Summer workout program "Rider Course" will be on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from June 8th through July 16th.

All girls (grades incoming 7th-12th) will be from 8:00-9:45 AM.

Middle School boys (incoming 7th-9th) will be from 9:00-10:45 AM.

High School Boys will be from 10:00-11:45 AM. This is for all Center Roughrider athletes.

Center Athletes Receive Recognition at Banquet of Champions

May 29, 2015 - On Tuesday, May 26th, the Center High School Athletic Department celebrated its athletes with a Banquet of Champions at the John D. Windham Civic Center. Each sport recognized its team members and gave individual awards for the excellence achieved during the 2014-15 seasons.
