2026-2027 ESSA Consolidated Application Meeting

April 2, 2026 - Joaquin ISD will be participating in the following Federal Programs during the 2026-2027 school year: Title I-Part A, Title I-Part C Migrant, Title II-Part A, Title III-Part A- LEP, Title IV, Part A, Carl D. Perkins – Title I, Part C and IDEA-B. 

February 6, 2026 - Joaquin ISD has scheduled a Substitute Teacher Training and Orientation on Thursday, February 12, 10am at the JISD Administration office. This will probably be the last training scheduled for the 2025-2026 school year. If interested please make every effort to attend.

The next training will be held in June for the 2026-2027 school year in which all active substitutes will be required to attend.

January 16, 2026 - On January 13, 2026, Joaquin Elementary students attended Stephen F. Austin State University and competed in Academic UIL competitions. Joaquin Elementary earned 2nd place. The student and team results are as follows. Congratulations to all of our students and coaches.
