September 29, 2020 - There will not be any Joaquin Jr. High Football Practices or a Game this week. We are currently working on making up the game at the end of the season.
September 25, 2020 - Dear Parent/Guardian and Staff:
In keeping with Joaquin ISD’s practices to respond to COVID-19, we are notifying all student families and staff members that two Joaquin ISD employees were lab-confirmed to have COVID-19. One of the employees was last on campus September 17, 2020 and tested positive September 23, 2020. The other employee was last on campus September 23, 2020 and tested positive September 24, 2020. Due to privacy requirements, we will not be releasing the names of the individuals or details that may identify him or her.
September 24, 2020 - The Joaquin Administration Office will be open until 1:30pm tomorrow September 25 to sell tickets for the homecoming football game. We will be closing early due to the district early release and homecoming parade.
There will not be any tickets available at the gate. Go RAMS!
September 24, 2020 - The Joaquin Homecoming Parade will be tomorrow, Friday September 25th, at 4pm. It will start in front of the high school and go through downtown.
The pre-game ceremonies will begin at 7pm on the football field.
The Joaquin Rams Junior Varsity Girls and Varsity Girls will start their basketball season October 1st with a scrimmage against Alto in Alto. Junior Varsity Boys and Varsity Boys will have their first game against Hemphill in Hemphill December 1.

September 23, 2020 - Home tickets for the Joaquin vs. Garrison varsity football game to be held on October 2, 2020 will be sold at the gate prior to the contest due to fall break. First come, first served until sold out. The gate will open at 6pm.
There are 800 tickets available for this contest due to stadium capacity restrictions. GO RAMS!
September 23, 2020 - 1 The Joaquin ISD School Board met tonight in regular session at 6pm in the Joaquin Boardroom with the following members present: Chrisco Bragg, Jacob Kay, Thomas Harvey, Brandon Neal, Jeff Hamilton, Ronnie Belrose, and Jeff Cater
Board members absent: Guest(s) Present: Todd Hovey, Chris Patton, Jeff Bresee, Tracy LeBlanc Joaquin ISD Employee(s) Present: Ryan Fuller, Superintendent; Joel Bumback, Director of Finance; Wade Lawson, Boys Athletic Director
Chrisco Bragg, President, called the meeting to order at 6:07pm.
September 23, 2020 - Joaquin ISD is pleased to announce an “A=Superior” rating on the 2019-20 School FIRST (Financial Integrity Rating System).
A financial management report explaining our FIRST rating will be presented during the regular scheduled board meeting at 6pm on Monday, October 19, 2020 in the Joaquin ISD Board Room.
This rating is based on actual financial data from 2018-19 and is used by Texas Education Agency in assigning accreditation status.
During this report time the public is welcome to make comments and discuss the FIRST report.
