October 7, 2020 - Dear Parent/Guardian and Staff:
In keeping with Joaquin ISD’s practices to respond to COVID-19, we are notifying all student families and staff members that one Joaquin ISD student was lab-confirmed to have COVID-19. The student was last on campus on October 5, 2020 and tested positive October 6, 2020. 

Due to privacy requirements, we will not be releasing the name of the individual or details that may identify him or her.

September 29, 2020 - There will not be any Joaquin Jr. High Football Practices or a Game this week. We are currently working on making up the game at the end of the season.

In keeping with Joaquin ISD’s practices to respond to COVID-19, we are notifying all student families and staff members that two Joaquin ISD employees were lab-confirmed to have COVID-19. One of the employees was last on campus September 17, 2020 and tested positive September 23, 2020. The other employee was last on campus September 23, 2020 and tested positive September 24, 2020. Due to privacy requirements, we will not be releasing the names of the individuals or details that may identify him or her.

The Joaquin Rams Junior Varsity Girls and Varsity Girls will start their basketball season October 1st with a scrimmage against Alto in Alto. Junior Varsity Boys and Varsity Boys will have their first game against Hemphill in Hemphill December 1.
