May 12, 2020 - 1 The Joaquin ISD School Board met tonight in regular session at 6pm in the Joaquin Boardroom with the following members present: Chrisco Bragg, Thomas Harvey, Brandon Neal, Jeff Cater, Tam Hearnsberger (phone), Ronnie Belrose, Jeff Hamilton

Chrisco Bragg, President, called the meeting to order at 6:05pm.

Joaquin ISD Lady Ram Athletic Equipment Drop Off/Pick Up

May 6, 2020 - Joaquin ISD Lady Ram athletic equipment drop off/pick up will be in the Joaquin ISD bus lane from 11am to 1pm on Friday, May 8, 2020. Please return all uniforms, workout gear and any other Lady Ram issued apparel/equipment at that time. You will also have access to clean out your locker and take any personal items that may have been left at the time of school closure.

Joaquin ISD Track Open to Public

May 6, 2020 - The Joaquin ISD track will be open for public use as of today, Wednesday, May 6, 2020. Please make sure to use the COVID-19 social distancing protocol if you choose to use the facility.

Joaquin ISD Federal Programs Meeting Non-Public Schools Notification

May 6, 2020 - Joaquin ISD plans to participate in the following Federal Programs during the 2020-2021 school year: Title I-Part A, Title I-Part C Migrant, Title II-Part A, Title III-Part A- LEP, Title IV, Part A, Carl D. Perkins – Title I, Part C and IDEA-B.

Joaquin ISD Extends School Closure, Feeding Program Returns April 27

April 24, 2020 - Joaquin ISD will extend school closure through the remainder of the school year. The educational plan and feeding program already established will continue to operate to ensure your child’s educational and nutritional needs are met. The feeding program will be available again beginning Monday, April 27th. Curbside meal pickup (for the week) will be served every Monday from 10:30am – 11:30am.

April 17, 2020 - The Joaquin Public Safety Corporation will meet in regular session Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at 5:30pm via videoconference at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/4453645221.

Notice Special Meeting of Joaquin ISD Board

April 8, 2020 - Notice is hereby given that on the 9th day of April 2020, the Board of Trustees of the Joaquin School District will hold a special meeting at 5pm, at the Administration building, Joaquin, Texas. The subjects to be discussed are listed on the agenda attached to and made a part of this Notice.

Joaquin ISD Feeding Program Suspends Operations for 3 Weeks

April 6, 2020 - Today, Monday, April 6th will be the last day of operation for the Joaquin ISD Feeding Program. We are hoping to continue operations beginning the week of April 27th. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updated information as it becomes available.
