The water on East Lamar Water Supply no longer requires boiling.
December 29, 2022 - On December 26, 2022, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the East Lamar Water Supply, #2100006, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
December 30, 2022 - The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the City of Huxley public water system, PWS ID# 210019, to issue a Boil Water Notice on December 23rd, 2022 and December 24th, 2022 for any customers without water to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
December 30, 2022 - On December 24, 2022, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the McClelland Water Supply PWS 21001, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
December 29, 2022 - On December 24, 2022, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Shelbyville public water system, 2100014 to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
December 29, 2022 - The Center Fire Department responded to the Shelby County Sheriff's Department at 2:41am December 15, 2022, due to a report of a fire.

December 29, 2022 - Emergency conservation measures effected on December 26th are now retracted. The water system has recovered with reductions from excessive use due to customer repairs and actions on several line leaks. While operations have not returned completely to normal tank levels and some water loss remains evident, the system has recovered such that restrictions on use are no longer necessary.
