Center Roughrider Football Update

October 27, 2015 - Center Roughrider Football Update for October 29th and 30th.

Thursday, October 29th
Our middle school football teams will play Pleasant Grove at Roughrider Stadium. The 7th and 8th grade white teams will play a scrimmage format beginning play at 4:30pm. The 7th grade purple team begins play at 5:30pm with 8th grade purple team to follow. Our freshman and JV will combine forces this weak. They will travel to Pleasant Grove to play at "Eagle Stadium", located at 406 Mcknight Rd. Texarkana, TX 75503. The game will begin at 4:30pm.

Commissioners Lift County-Wide Burn Ban

October 26, 2015 - The Shelby County Commissioners lifted the burn ban in Shelby County by a motion which carried due to the much needed rain recently landing in the area to the relief of many in the county.

Six roads were approved by motion which carried for closure in Precincts 3 and 4 per requests made by TxDOT. These roads will be closed for TxDOT to reconstruct bridges. Judge Allison Harbison was assured by Commissioners Bradley Allen and Travis Rodgers travelers would be able to find alternate routes.

County Court Holds Docket Call, Disposes 25 Cases

October 26, 2015 - The following cases were disposed of in the Shelby County Court on the October Docket. Judge Allison Harbison was the presiding judge and County Attorney Gary Rholes represented the State.

Shelby County 273rd District Court Jury Cancellation

October 23, 2015 - The jury that has been summoned for Monday, October 26, 2015 for the 273rd District Court Honorable Charles R. Mitchell, presiding has been canceled due to the scheduled cases being resolved or passed.

Anyone receiving a summons for that day is released from jury service until they receive a future summons.
