September 19, 2025 - (UPDATE) The water on N.E.W. WSC no longer requires boiling as of September 19, 2025.

On September 15, 2025, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the N.E.W. Water Supply, #2030034, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

September 4, 2025 - Commissioner Bellmyer is accepting sealed bids on a Brush Truck Fire Skid. Fits a cab/chassis truck.

August 30, 2025 - Shelby County is currently accepting sealed bids for the supply of road materials for Fiscal Year 2025–2026.
