December 19, 2025 - On 12-16-2025, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the East Lamar WSC public water system, 2100006, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
December 19, 2025 - The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the City of Huxley public water system, PWS ID# 2100019, to issue a Boil Water Notice on December 11th, 2025 for any customers without water in Shelby Beach (CR 2650) and Rolling Hills (CR 2703 and CR 2704) to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

Sonic will remain closed today, December 19, 2025, until water is restored.
December 18, 2025 - Sonic, located in Tenaha Street in Center, is shut down due to a water break for the rest of the evening of Thursday, December 18, 2025.
They are expected to re-open tomorrow, December 19, at normal hours.
