January 14, 2026 - On December 19, 2025 the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Flat Fork Water Supply public water system, TX2100007 to issue a Boil Water Notice to CR 4293 north of CR 4356, along with CR 4360, CR 4295, and CR 4297 to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

January 8, 2026 - Evenflo Company, Inc. (Evenflo) is recalling certain All4One child seats. Please refer to Evenflo's recall report for specific model numbers. In rear-facing mode, the adjustable recline mechanism may shift out of proper position. As such, these child seats fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 213, "Child Restraint Systems."
December 30, 2025 - The City of Center Public Water System, PWS #2100001, will be conducting water system maintenance beginning January 1, 2026, and lasting until January 31, 2026. The system will be switching to free chlorine as its main disinfection.
This maintenance which is not a requirement, but is the recommended course of action set by the TCEQ/EPA for the accumulation of disinfection byproducts.
December 30, 2025 - The City of Huxley public water system, (PWS) ID 2100019, will temporarily convert the disinfectant used in the distribution system from chloramine to free chlorine. The conversion will begin on 1/1/2026 and continue through 1/31/2026. During this period, you may experience taste and odor changes associated with this type of temporary disinfectant conversion.
December 26, 2025 - The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the City of Huxley public water system, PWS ID# 2100019, to issue a Boil Water Notice on December 21th, 2025 for any customers without water in Harvey's Landing Community (CR 2481, CR 2490, CR 2496, CR 2501, Hooper Haven Road, FM 2694 near Huxley Bay area) to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
