Shelbyville HS Project Graduation Seeking Donations

May 4, 2016 - Shelbyville High School will be holding Project Graduation this year on May 27, 2016. Project Graduation is an all-night event that is drug and alcohol free honoring the graduates. It provides a safe alternative for graduates who might otherwise be partying. It keeps graduates off the roads, prevents them from becoming an accident statistic, and gives their parents ease knowing their son/daughter is safely celebrating.

Shelby County Well Represented at Region III Class 2A Track Meet

May 4, 2016 - Joaquin, Shelbyville, Tenaha and Timpson High Schools all headed to Palestines Wildcat Stadium last Friday and Saturday to compete in the UIL Class 2A Regional Track and Field Championships.

Of our four county schools Shelbyville and Timpson came away with the most bragging rights with five athletes qualifying for state competition in four events.

Joe's Car Wash Helps Raise Funds for Shelbyville High School Project Graduation

May 2, 2016 - Need a car wash? Joe's Car Spa will be donating $5 per car to Shelbyville High School Project Graduation for every car that comes through their automatic car wash on Wednesday, May 4th. Students, Teachers, Parents, Grandparents, and friends, get out and get your car washed to support Shelbyville High School Seniors! Big thanks to Joe's Car Spa!

Shelbyville Band Makes Sweepstakes

April 29, 2016 - This year has been another year full of success for the Shelbyville Dragon Military Marching Band.  The band received its 8th consecutive First Division rating at UIL Marching Contest, placed 1st at Area Marching Contest, and finished 4th at the Texas State Marching Contest.  This week the Dragon  Band received first division ratings from all 6 judges at the UIL Concert and Sight-Reading contest earning them their 7th consecutive Sweepstakes award.
