March 30, 2026 - Shelbyville High School students competed at the District 24AA University Interscholastic League (UIL) Academic Spring Meet held on March 26th at Stephen F. Austin State University. Shelbyville competitors scored points in nineteen academic contests, qualified twenty-eight students for the Region III-AA Academic UIL Meet, scored 751total points and captured the District Championship.

March 13, 2026 - The Shelbyville boys and girls baseball teams all played at home on March 10. The Boys JV Baseball won 7-0 and the Boys Varsity Baseball won 3-2. The softball girls won 9-4.

March 4, 2026 - Shelbyville Baseball teams brought home decisive wins to start the week.

The Junior Varsity (JV) baseball team won against the Carthage JV baseball team with a final score of 7-2 on March 3. Next, the Varsity baseball team won against Woden with a score of 15-1.

Shelbyville baseball will host a tournament this week from March 5th to March 7th, Thursday to Saturday, in Shelbyville.

March 3, 2026 - Shelbyville Powerlifter CaLayasia Garrett competed on Saturday, February 28th, at Emory Rains High School. She competed in the 181 lb weight class.
