April 4, 2025 - Shelbyville Varsity softball game today, April 4, will be at 4:30 against Garrison.

March 31, 2025 - Shelbyville High School competed at the District 24AA University Interscholastic League (UIL) Academic Spring Meet held on March 27th at Stephen F. Austin State University. Shelbyville competitors scored in nineteen academic contests, qualified twenty-five students for the Region III-AA Academic UIL Meet, scored 756.5 total points and captured the District Championship.

March 10, 2025 - High school students in Shelbyville ISD will compete for top honors during the 2025 District 24AA UIL Academic Spring Meet to be held March 27 at SFASU.

The UIL Academic District Meets bring students together to compete in over 23 college level academic contests that cover every aspect of classroom curriculum. These students meet rigorous scholastic requirements in order to voluntarily compete in UlL academics. Contestants compete for individual honors while schools compete for the district championship.

March 5, 2025 - - Shelbyville's Gifted and Talented (GT) students showcased their creativity and engineering skills in the Region 7 Fall Design Board competition, tying for 1st place among competitors from across the region.

The annual Fall Design Board competition determines the official board layout for the spring robotics competition, challenging students to design an innovative and functional board.

February 12, 2025 - Shelbyville ISD is issuing this notice regarding student transfers for the upcoming 2025-26 school year. Shelbyville ISD has been fortunate to have a great deal of interest from parents and students who reside outside SISD’s attendance zone wanting to attend our school district.

Unfortunately, Shelbyville ISD does not have the classroom space or the staffing resources to accommodate the ever-increasing number of students who would like to transfer into our school system.
