November 7, 2016 - Shelbyville Middle School announces the honor roll for the 1st Semester, 2nd Six Weeks.

November 2, 2016 - The Shelbyville Dragon Military Marching Band earned a First Division rating from all 3 judges at the 2016 Region 21 UIL Marching Contest.  The Dragon Band was one of only 2 bands to only receive first division ratings from all three judges in Class 2A.  This marks the 10th consecutive year that the Dragon Band has earned a first division rating at marching contest, and this is currently the longest streak by a 2A band in region 21.  Some of the comments made by the judges were:

October 21, 2016 - Shelbyville HS is proud to announce the Cross Country Regional Qualifiers. Boys Cross Country Regional Qualifiers are pictured below: H'Leighen McClelland, Zach Runnels, Ryan Bailey, Kurtrick Allen & Cam Howard.

October 19, 2016 - S. W. Carter Elementary will be observing Red Ribbon Week, October 23-31, which promotes the importance of a healthy, drug-free lifestyle among our youth.
