Tenaha Meet the Teachers and Tigers

August 15, 2019 - Tenaha ISD will be hosting their annual Meet the Teachers and Meet the Tigers on August 15th.

Meet the Teachers will be from 4:30pm-6:00pm. Elementary students may drop off supplies and 4th, 5th, JH, and HS students may pick up their schedules.

The Tiger Café will be open from 5:00pm-7:00pm and will be serving their delicious chicken strip or fried fish baskets for $8.00.

Whataburger Fundraises for Tenaha Football Team

August 6, 2019 - Whataburger in Center, Tx will be hosting a fundraiser Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 5-8pm.

They are going to donate 25% of sales to the Tenaha High School Football team.

Support the Tenaha Tigers by dining in or going through the drive thru so they can raise enough money to purchase new equipment.

Tenaha ISD Announces Continuance of Free Meals to All Students

August 5, 2019 - The Tenaha ISD announced today it will continue its policy to operate the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program for the 2019-2020 school year. Schools qualifying to operate CEP serve breakfast and lunch to all children at no charge and eliminate the collection of meal applications for free, reduced-price, and paid student meals. This new approach reduces burdens for both families and school administrators and helps ensure that students receive nutritious meals.

Tenaha ISD Dress Code Changes for 2019-2020 School Year

July 25, 2019 - At the regular July meeting of the TISD Board of Trustees, the TISD Administration presented proposed changes to the student handbook. Many of the changes were rooted in language, however, parents and students need to take note of a couple of subtle adjustments to the dress code.

Meet the Teacher 4:30pm - 6pm. Elementary students drop off supplies.
4th, 5th, JH & HS students pick up schedules: Tiger Cafe 5pm - 7pm in the Cafeteria.
Meet the Tigers 6pm in the SEC.
