September 10, 2020 - Game tickets for the Price Carlisle game next week, September 18th, will be $5. They will be sold ONLY at the Event Center Monday 7am to 9am and 5pm to 7pm for Varsity Football, Band, and Cheerleader Parents ONLY.
Tuesday and Wednesday 7am to 9am and 5pm to 7pm for General Admission.
We are only allowed 135 tickets and therefore to allow as many familties as possible the opportunity to attend, we will only be allowing 2 tickets per participant / participants in a family.
September 8, 2020 - Due to positive Covid 19 cases on the campus, Timpson High School will be moving to remote learning for tomorrow, Wednesday September 9, 2020. Students have been preparing for remote learning needs from the beginning of school so students will need to attend classes as normal from their computers at home.
September 2, 2020 - Due to the power failure and it’s impact on other working systems In the district, TISD will be closed for the remainder of today. We will resume classes tomorrow September 3, 2020 at the normal time.
August 28, 2020 - The Bears football game for tonight in Timpson is still on for 7:30pm vs. Frankston. Due to our inability to sell tickets yesterday and the fact school was out, we are going to have a few tickets for sale at the Bears Team Store from 5:00 -6:30pm. Please, be sure to secure your ticket before 6:30pm in order to attend the game. The gates will open at 6:30pm. We will not be selling tickets after 6:30pm.
August 26, 2020 - Timpson ISD has made the decision to cancel classes for Thursday August 27, 2020 due to the likelihood of damage, outages and difficulties related to Hurricane Laura. TISD plans to resume classes on Friday August 28, 2020.
The JV football game scheduled for tomorrow in Frankston has been cancelled as well.
August 18, 2020 - Timpson ISD will be moving the start date of school to Monday, August 24, 2020 due to a positive COVID-19 lab test on the TISD campus.This information came late in the day on Tuesday and we are unable to conduct the proper tracing in time for school in the morning. We are in the process of making calls to those possible contacts while following the procedures and laws set forth by the Texas Education Agency and the State of Texas. Timpson ISD has every intention of being ready for school beginning next Monday.
August 17, 2020 - Timpson ISD announced its policy today for providing free and reduced-price meals for children served under the attached current income eligibility guidelines. Each school/site or the central office has a copy of the policy, which may be reviewed by anyone on request.
Immunization Information – Nurse Lynette Alford wants to remind parents that if you received a letter this summer about your child needing an immunization(s) prior to the start of the 2020-2021 school year, be sure that the child has received the vaccine and that a new copy of the vaccine record is brought to the school for the child's file.
