August 15, 2020 - Bear Update

Timpson ISD parents, we will be doing device checkouts for the students that have decided to engage in remote learning this year on Monday and Tuesday. 

If your child will be participating in remote learning this year, please check out a device from your child's campus office between the hours of 8-6. 

If you have children on multiple campuses, please visit each campus office for each child. If you do not have access to the internet, we will have a limited supply of  mobile hotspots available. 

August 13, 2020 - On Monday, August 17, 2020 from 4:30 p.m.- 5:30 p.m. Timpson Elementary will hold a drive-through Meet the Teacher and School Supply Drop Off for students in Pre-K through 2nd grade.

Parents and students must remain in their vehicle. Please have your student’s supplies in a bag with their name on it. Teachers will gather the supplies and your child will have the opportunity to say “hello” to their new teacher.  

July 25, 2020 - Dear Parents,

Timpson ISD is actively monitoring the situation involving COVID-19 and is currently making plans to reopen schools. However, TISD is making the decision to delay the school start date from August 13th to August 19th. We have had some local cases of COVID-19 and are aware that the situation in Texas and the Nation is not improving. We also realize that some parents and others are expecting for school to open as soon as possible.

July 10, 2020 - Timpson ISD is asking parents to fill out a survey about the upcoming school year regarding COVID-19. Please take a few minutes and answer for each student in grades PK-12th grades for the 2020-2021 school year.

June 8, 2020 - A Community Back to School Bash Immunization Clinic at Aurora Concepts is set for Tuesday, June 30, 2020! The vaccine clinic is from 8am until 5pm. Please call 936-598-3296 to make an appointment. Nurse Lynnette says if a shot record is needed, a message may be left on her office voice mail (936/558-4113) and she will make arrangements to have a copy of the shot record available for the requestor.
