Timpson ISD Bear Update: Pre-K & Kindergarten Registration, Pre-K Attends Ag Day

May 6, 2015 - Pre-Kindergarten & Kindergarten Registration - Registration for PK-4 and Kindergarten for the 2015-2016 school year will be held May 8, 2015 from 8:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Parents or legal guardians may register students in the elementary office. PK students already enrolled in Timpson Elementary do not need to register for Kindergarten. For more information you may contact Timpson Elementary office at 254-2462.

Timpson Bear Update: Regional Track Meet Results

May 4, 2015 - Timpson Boys Track Team Regional Champs - The Timpson High School boys and girls track team competed in events at the regional tournament in Palestine this past weekend with the boys track team winning the regional track meet. The top two places in each event will compete in the state meet in Austin May 15 and 16. Congratulations to all Timpson High School competitors and good luck at state!

May 4, 2015 - Timpson Hs Track Team qualified several athletes for the State Track Meet in Austin, Texas on May 15-16, 2015.

State qualifiers are as follows:

Timpson HS Band Earns Straight First Division Ratings

May 4, 2015 - On Wednesday, April 29 the Timpson High School Band performed at the UIL Region 21 Concert and Sightreading Contest held at Troup High School. The band received first division superior ratings from all six judges at the contest.

Timpson ISD Bear Update: Torres Qualifies for State

May 1, 2015 - Torres Qualifies For State - Timpson High School’s Robert Torres qualified for state poetry competition placing 3rd at Regionals. He will be competing at the State UIL Academic Contest on May 26 - 27th in Austin, TX at the University of Texas campus. Principal Ronald Lindgren said he is very proud of Robert and the 17 other students who qualified and competed at the regional competition. Good luck to Robert at state!

April 30, 2015 -The Timpson Bear Band made 1’s at the UIL Region 21 Concert and Sight Reading competition in Troup today! Congratulations band, on your hard work and dedication. The Bear Band is under the direction of Ms. Rhonda Cates and assistant director Ms. Kaci Trent.
