April 17, 2015 - Timpson High School One Act Play - Area One Act Play Competition at Panola College was held Tuesday, April 14th. The Timpson High School play Pink Lemonade for Tomorrow was named alternate play to regionals. Awards were given to: Bethany Lindgren - Hon. Mention All-Star Cast, Chorus - Hon. Mention All-Star Cast - Deon Woods, Kiasmin Page, Ty'Kuirra Bryant, Destiny Garner.
April 14, 2015 - Area IX Career Development Contest April 9th 2015 --The following Timpson students completed and came home with numerous awards in team events and individual placing’s. Career Development Events build on what is learned in agricultural classes and encourage members to put their knowledge into practice. These events are designed to help a member prepare for a career in agriculture by testing and challenging the student's technical, leadership, interpersonal and teamwork skills as well as their knowledge of the subject matter.
April 14, 2015 - On Monday, April 13th Mrs. Sparks, elementary counselor, took a representative group of Agents for Change to present the program at the Monthly Delta Gamma meeting.
Delta Gamma is the Shelby County, Sabine County, and San Augustine County chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma International which is an organization for key women educators.
Mrs. Sparks is a member of this chapter and they asked for her to bring her Agents for Change to talk about the organization and what they do.
April 13, 2015 -Timpson H.S. One Act Play advanced to the area competition from the bi district competition at Panola College last Friday.
The cast and crew performs "Pink Lemonade for Tomorrow" on Tuesday, April 14th from approximately 4:30 - 5:00 at Panola College for AREA competition. Timpson is the last play to perform. The performances start at 12:00 and we are #6.) Admission is $10.
April 7, 2015 - The Timpson Middle School performed well in the district meet which was held in Beckville with both the 7th grade girls and 8th grade boys winning the district championship. Middle School track results are:
April 7, 2015 - The Timpson High School boys track team placed first and the girls track team placed second in the Huntington track meet. Coach James Conway said he is very proud of the efforts of the athletes on both teams. The district high school track meet will be April 15 and 16 in Beckville.

April 3, 2015 - April Ramsey Competes in Austin - April Ramsey exhibited her Simmental heifers at the Star of Texas Livestock Show and Rodeo in Austin, Texas on March 27th. April won Reserve Champion Simmental. Congratulations!
March 30, 2015 - According to Academic UIL Director Pat Crawford, the THS academic team placed second overall in the district UIL meet. The top three places in each event will compete at the Regional meet.
