August 8, 2025 - Shelby County Outreach Ministries is pleased to announce new hours of operation for its Helping Hands Outreach Center. Starting Monday, August 11, 2025, our facility will be open from 9am to 3pm, Monday through Friday.

We are committed to feeding the hungry and assisting the needy in Shelby County, and these updated hours will allow us to do so more effectively. We would also like to remind all clients that they must be able to carry their own emergency food box or have someone with them who can carry it for them.

August 6, 2025 - Shelby County Outreach Ministries has kicked off its ATV raffle fundraiser, offering community members the exciting chance to win a new 2025 Polaris Sportsman 4-Wheeler. All proceeds from the raffle will help feed the hungry and assist the needy in Shelby County. We are currently feeding up to 500 families each month through emergency food boxes. We also have up to 216 seniors on our senior feeding programs.

August 1, 2025 - Shelby County Outreach Ministries is currently seeking dedicated individuals to serve as substitute cooks for its Senior Nutrition Site. Interested applicants are invited to pick up an application at Shelby County Outreach Ministries or call us at 936-598-4990. The office is located at 930 Shelbyville Street, Center, Texas.

June 30, 2025 - Shelby County Outreach Ministries is in need of donations due to the growing number of clients.
