September 4, 2026 - As we head into the upcoming holiday weekend, we hope and pray that you have a safe and wonderful Labor Day weekend. 

At Shelby County Outreach Ministries, our mission is to feed the hungry and assist the needy in our community. Many people in our community are striving to make ends meet due to the rising cost of food and overall inflation. Our organization is funded by local donations, grants, and community fundraisers.

August 11, 2026 - Shelby County Outreach Ministries is grateful to everyone who supported our Bad Boy Lawnmower Raffle. Your generosity makes a real difference in our community!  We are so grateful for the support, and we couldn't have done it without the amazing local sponsors who stepped up to help us out.

July 2, 2026 - Shelby County Outreach Ministries will be closing early tomorrow, July 3, at 1pm in observance of Independence Day.

All programs and services will end at 1pm, including Meals on Wheels, Helping Hands, The Unique Boutique, and the Senior Nutrition Site.

We thank you for your support and understanding. Have a safe and blessed holiday, and we will resume our regular operating hours on Monday.

June 26, 2026 - Shelby County Outreach Ministries will have a booth at Frontier Days in Timpson today, Friday, June 26, and tomorrow, Saturday, June 27. We will be selling tickets for $20 each or 6 for $100. All proceeds will help us feed the hungry and assist those in need as we strive to be the hands and heart of Christ in our community. Drawing date is July 3rd.
