October 28, 2025 - A Wind Advisory was issued October 28 at 12:03pm until October 29 at 7pm by National Weather Service, Shreveport LA.
Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph are expected for portions of south central and southwest Arkansas, north central and northwest Louisiana, southeast Oklahoma, and east and northeast Texas.
The Wind Advisory is from 10pm this evening to 7pm Wednesday.
Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
October 18, 2025 (4:25pm) - At 4:16pm, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles north of Joaquin, or 14 miles east of Carthage, moving east at 40 mph.

October 18, 2025 - The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center, Norman, Oklahoma issued a Tornado Watch Outline update for WT 624 at 1:20pm Saturday, October 18, 2025.
The tornado watch 645 is in effect until 9pm for the following Texas Counties: Angelina, Bowie, Camp, Cass, Cherokee, Franklin, Gregg, Harrison, Marion, Morris, Nacogdoches, Panola, Red River, Rusk, Sabine, San Augustine, Shelby, Smith, Titus, Upshur, and Wood.
August 29, 2025 - The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Shelby County in eastern Texas, Panola County in northeasternTexas until 10:45am CDT.
At 738am CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
August 17, 2025 - A strong thunderstorm will impact southwestern De Soto Parish and southeastern Panola and northeastern Shelby counties until 5:15pm CDT.
At 4:47pm CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Joaquin, or 14 miles northeast of Center, moving northeast at 25 mph.
Hazard: Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

Impact: Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Jun 24 2025 - A strong thunderstorm will impact southwestern Panola, southeastern Rusk, northern Nacogdoches, northwestern Shelby and east central Cherokee counties through 7:45pm.
At 7:03 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Garrison, or 15 miles northeast of Nacogdoches, moving northwest at
30 mph.
