15th Annual East Texas Chopper Guys Toy Run/Food Drive

December 3, 2021 - The 15th Annual East Texas Chopper Guys (ETCG) Toy Run/Food Drive is set for Saturday, December 4, 2021.

Bike show and car show is from 9am until 12:30pm. Entry fee is $10 or New Children’s Toy or non-Perishable Can Food. Awards are presented at 12:30pm.
An auction is from 12:45pm to 2pm.
A raffle is from 3:45pm to 5:15pm.
Goody bags for first 50 children.

All proceeds benefit Joaquin Christian Services.

East Texas Chopper Guys Toy, Food Drive 2020

November 30, 2020 - East Texas Chopper Guys presents their annual bike show, toy drive and food drive December 5, 2020 in downtown Joaquin.

Event starts at 9am-12:30pm with three entry fee options of $10, children's toy or non-perishable canned food. The first 50 children at the event will receive a free stocking. The bike show awards will be presented at 12:30.

The annual auction will be 12:45pm-2pm followed by the annual auction from 3:45pm-5:15pm.

All proceeds will go to Joaquin Children's Services.

December 2, 2019 - East Texas Chopper Guys are hosting their Annual Toy Run and Food Drive on December 7, 2019 in downtown Joaquin, Texas

There will be gift bags to the first 75 children, a raffle and auction held after the parade at 3pm, and a bike show kicks off at 10am.

Bike show has a $10 entry fee or toy or canned goods. Bike entry must participate in the parade at 3pm. Awards will be announced at 5pm.

October 15, 2019 - I would like to thank the young gentleman that paid for my lunch yesterday at “Royal Buffet.”

I was having sort of a bad day and went to “Royal Buffet” to eat a bite and just relax. My Brother lost his battle with Cancer on Sunday and he was really on my mind.

Beyond the Donation Blood Drive in Joaquin

August 10, 2019 - Joaquin First United Methodist Church is hosting a blood drive at the Mind Body Spirit Health Fair on Saturday, August 10 from 10am until 3m at 105 Faulkville Road.

Giving blood doesn't end with a cookie. The Beyond the Donation Blood Drive is about someone in need such as Helen who is a cancer survivor, Josh who is fighting sickle cell, and Erin who survived internal bleeding.

Body and Soul Health Fair, Revival

August 9, 2019 - Come to the Body and Soul Health Fair and Revival sponsored by Joaquin Christian Services on Saturday, August 10 from 9am until 3pm at Joaquin First United Methodist Church.

The health fair will offer free hearing tests, vision tests by Golden Eye Associates, dental screening, blood pressure and blood sugar checks by UT Health.
