April 13, 2017 - The annual Shelbyville Volunteer Fire Department (VFD) BBQ Fundraiser is Saturday, April 15th beginning at 11 am at the fire hall. Plates are $8 and include a chicken leg quarter, sausage link, beans, potato salad, bread, dessert, and a drink. The SVFD would like to express their appreciation to the community for your generous support year after year, and they look forward to continuing to grow and serve you.

April 12, 2017 - The Shelby County Children's Advocacy Center and the Shelby County Rainbow Room will be hosting a blue ribbon tying ceremony and butterfly release on the downtown square at 4:30pm on Thursday, April 13, 2017.
