April 20, 2018 - The Annual Breakfast Fundraiser at the Shelby County Senior Nutrition Site is set for Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 8am until 11am. All you can eat! The price of a donation is priceless to those who are helped!

The Nutrition Site is located at 124 Haley Drive off of Loop 500 across from Panola College.

April 3, 2018 - Shelby County VFW Post 8904 and the Auxiliary gathered on the downtown Center square at the Veterans memorial to honor those who served during "Operation Restore Hope" on Friday, March 30, 2018.

April 2, 2018 - Center Roughrider Baseball team will travel to play against Carthage on Tuesday, April 3, 2018. Game time of  6pm is an hour earlier than previously schedule.

The team will compete against Woden at home on Saturday, April 7th with a 1pm game start time which is also an hour earlier than previously scheduled.

March 29, 2018 - During the March 28th meeting of the Shelby County Commissioners' Court, Shelby County Judge Allison Harbison signed a proclamation which recognizes and proclaims April 2018 to be "Child Abuse Awareness Month."

Attending the signing of the proclamation was Sheriff Willis Blackwell, District Attorney Stephen Shires, District Judge Leann Kay Rafferty, law enforcement officers, and staff members of the Shelby County Children's Advocacy Center (SCCAC)
