In God's Word: Know the Lord

August 9, 2018 - As one walks through this world living out his journey through life one finds many times when he feels abandoned by all others, when one feels abandoned and alone in the cold cruel world, as tiny mouse trapped in a land of giant predators looking to devour him.

I have an answer for your fears, for I know one who will never abandon you to those who would devour your soul.

All one must do for this saving grace is to cry out in reverence to the one who controls all things of this world and this universe.

In God's Word: Trust and Honor the Lord

July 31, 2018 - God created this universe and the people within it. He gives life to all things which have life and makes all to grow and prosper in him.

Just as God dealt favorably with the ancient Israelites so too will he deal favorably with us of today. If only we will allow him to do so.

“Lord you were favorable to your land, you restored the fortunes of Jacob. You forgave the iniquity of your people, you covered all their sin. you withdrew all your wrath; you turned from your hot anger.” (Psalm 85:1-3)

In God's Word: Seek the Lord

“I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my troubles.” (Psalm 34:4)

July 17, 2018 - All men are born with sin in their hearts due to the sin of Adam. All men long for more than they have, no matter their worldly status. Even the richest among us if he doesn’t know the Lord longs for something more, something he just cannot find, but that his heart burns for.

In God’s Word: To Take Up Arms

July 10, 2018 - As we see the civil unrest in America splashed across the television each day many Christians grow frightened about the future and what manner of troubles we might face in our daily lives.

This fear is well founded for the struggles we face are great. We must know and understand whom we face as we are forced to take up arms against our enemy.

In God’s Word: Great is the Lord

July 2, 2018 - Salvation, what does it mean to be born again into the Lord, to be called by the Lord for his good pleasure and his good will?

“I waited patiently for the Lord; he inclined to me and heard my cry. He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure.” (Psalm 40:1-2)

In God's Word: Questions of Salvation

June 26, 2018 - All Who Seek God Have Many Questions About Him.

Questions such as; “What does God require of me if I am to serve him? What does God wish that I should do for him? What must I do to be saved from my sins and live in the house of God forever?

Now all these are real questions which require answers if one truly seeks to do Gods will in one’s life on earth.
Let us look through the Book of Gods Word for the answers to our questions today.

In God's Word: Life in the Spirit

June 19, 2018 - Two ways to live; either to live in the Spirit, in Christ Jesus, or, to live in the flesh, to follow the world and God’s will.

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 8:1)

Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.” (Romans 8:8)

So there you have the options, to either follow God or to follow the devil and his worldly passions, it is a choice every single person has to make in this life.

'Judgement and Redemption' by Mike Mills

"Justice is turned back, and righteousness stands far away; for truth has stumbled in the public squares, and uprightness cannot enter. Truth is lacking and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey.” (Isaiah 59:14-15)

June 12, 2018 - How true do these words of Isaiah from so long ago ring today? Where can one find truth or righteousness in the world today?

For when anyone stands against the evil forces in this world, he is immediately ridiculed and make to look as if he is the evil instead of those who are persecuting him.

In God's Word: Blessing of Life

May 29, 2018 - Who is this man called Jesus? That was the question asked so often by the Jews as they heard and saw the works of the Lord Jesus.

One winter day as Jesus was walking in the temple in Jerusalem the Jews came to him, gathering around him they asked him again;

How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly.” (John 10:24)
