December 22, 2015 - (Psalm 33:12) "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom He hath chosen for His own inheritance."
For many generations America was this blessed nation, but, sadly it seems she has turned from God and has gone the way of so many others, the way of the world.
God allows all people their own free will which is many times, our undoing. It is our choice if we are to serve Him, or if we are to serve man. God allows the lost to sink into the pit which they have made, trapped in their own nets like fish in the sea.
December 15, 2015 - Forgiveness, the prophet Daniel says in (Daniel 9:9) "To the Lord our God belong mercy and forgiveness, though we have rebelled against Him." Daniel tells us that even though we have done wrong and sinned against God, that He still forgives our sins by His great mercy. Praise the Lord that our God is such a loving and forgiving God that even though we do not deserve mercy, He grants it to us.
December 3, 2015 - "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the world's; who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down by The right hand of the Majesty on high." (Hebrews 1:1-3)
October 5, 2015 - The Good Shepherd (John 10:11-18)
“I am the good shepherd: The good shepherd giveth his life for his sheep.” (John 10:11) Yes, Jesus is the Good Shepherd, no, He is the Great Shepherd and He did lay down His life for His sheep, you and me. He came that we might have life and have it abundantly, everlasting life.
He was not just a “hired man”, no, He is the Lord God and He came so He could pay the debts we could not pay due to our imperfections.
