August 3, 2017 - Blessed, we hear this word so often, but what does it truly mean to be blessed by the Lord our God.

“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night.” (Psalm 1:1-2)

July 25, 2017 - "For it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant, and a song of praise is fitting." (Psalm 147:1)

As with so many of the Psalms, the 147th Psalm is a song of praise to the Lord, it gives us so many reasons for praising or worshiping our Lord.

"He heals the broken-hearted and binds up their wounds." (Psalm 147:3) Yes, He is the "Great Physician", He deals with our wounds whether physical or spiritual and He binds them to Himself, covering us with His love.

July 21, 2017 - Those who believe in the Lord believe that one day he shall return, in judgment, and administer justice as it is deserved for all people.

We believe this for the Bible tells us this will happen with all certainly, it just does not tell us when. But, it tells us that it is impossible for those who read and study to miss the fact of the coming day of judgment.

July 11, 2017 - Jesus was led by the Holy Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. After a time, the devil came and asked Him to turn stones into bread to eat.

But He answered, “It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.” (Matthew 4:4)

Later Satan tried to get Jesus to worship him by promising him the world as payment for His worship.

July 5, 2017 - “In God, whose word I praise, in the Lord, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can man do to me?

I must perform my vows to you, O God; I will render thank offerings to you. For you have delivered my soul from death, yes, my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of life.” (Psalm 56:10-13)

In God's Word by Mike Mills, June 27th

June 27, 2017 - I am moved to say a little about by the events of unrest we see happening today in America and how they may relate to the Bible.

In the 2012 Democrat convention a large portion of the delegates actually booed God. That act of disobedience to our Lord sent a chill down my spine, to boo God is chilling and shows much about how America has regressed as a society.

In God's Word by Mike Mills, June 23rd

June 23, 2017 - When is the Lord coming back to claim his own from the earth. Let's look at God's Word and see what Jesus says about that great and wonderful day.

"But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only." (Matthew 24:36)

No one knows so let no one tell you that they do.

Jesus tells us also that all things will go on as usual as they did before the flood that the people of the earth will be doing as they have always done up until it happens.

Sealed by the Spirit, Saved by Grace

"And Peter said to them, "Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." (Acts 2:38)

May 30, 2017 - Peter made this statement on the day of Pentecost to the thousands of people who had gathered and who witnessed the miracles of the coming of the Holy Spirit over the apostles that day.
