August 9, 2016 - "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." (John 8:31-32)

These words of Jesus sound like He is talking to people who are in bondage, telling them what they must do to be freed from captivity.

Yet, the Old Testament Jews were a group of people whose claim of superiority is that they are "children of Abraham" and were never in bondage to anyone.

August 2, 2016 - The Spirit of overcoming:

"These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." John 16:33

Our Lord Jesus tells us all we need to know to help us through the hard times we may have.

In this world, all persons will find themselves overcome with tribulations, they will be attacked from time to time from many directions.

July 25, 2016 - So many people are asking or lamenting; "what can I do to save America, I am only one person". It is true, we are all "only one person" but together we are a "bunch of persons".

I don't know what all people can do but I do know what all Christians can do, the Bible tells us not only what we can do , must what we must do if America is to be saved from God's wrath and destruction.

June 30, 2016 - The Power Of God: And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me, in heaven and on earth." (Matt. 28:18) NKJV

All power was not given to Jesus as a reward for His death on the cross, He has always had the power within Him. He has always been equal with the Father and the Holy Spirit in power, essence and glory, the Holy Trinity acts in perfect unison.

June 28, 2016 - “For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin." (Hebrews 4:15)

Conceived, born and lived unto death without sin, that accurately describes the sinless Son of God.

Conceived by the Holy Spirit, He had no earthly father, and yet, He was born of the Virgin Mary.

June 7, 2016 - In the 100th Psalm the Psalmist calls for all people, Jew and Gentile alike to "Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands!"(Psalm 100:1) He exhorts us all to "Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing." (Psalm 100:2)

Why does he push us to come and worship the Lord in a joyous way? Why do we need to give the Lord the credit for what we have, did we not earn it ourselves, by our own labor?
