April 17, 2015 -Shelby County Sheriff Willis Blackwell reports that on March 20, 2015 Deputy Kurtes Lawrence met with complainants at the Shelby County Sheriff's Department in reference to being assaulted. Significant injuries were observed to victim identified as a Nichole Rhoades, 27.
March 24, 2015 - Sheriff Willis Blackwell reports that on Monday March 16, 2015 Shelby County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Kurtes Lawrence, while on routine patrol in the Joaquin area, discovered methamphetamines on a man on County Road 3315.
March 6, 2015 - Shelby County Sheriff's Department spent yesterday morning searching for a missing woman after locating a pickup reported stolen and then speaking to the suspect who took it.
Sheriff Willis Blackwell reports on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 4:45am Deputy Cody Muse was dispatched to a logging operation on County Road 1170 in reference to a stolen 1994 Ford F350 work truck. Deputy Muse took the report and had the vehicle entered into NCIC/TCIC as stolen.

December 30, 2014 - According to a press release from the Shelby County Sheriff's Office, the family of a wanted suspect was arrested for Hindering Apprehension after investigators discovered the wanted individual hiding in a large pile of laundry.
