Taste of the Holidays Festivities Includes Center HS Band, Theater

November 30, 2021 - The Taste of the Holidays, Sponsored by Shelby Savings Bank will be this Thursday, December 2nd from 4:30-7:30 pm at the Windham Civic Center. It is a great way to kick off a fun holiday weekend and the December count down to Christmas.

Tickets are available for $15.00 person and will be sold at the door. Children 5 and under are free.

Come sample cuisine and wine from local restaurants and caterers and enjoy a fun festive evening. 

8th Annual Taste of the Holidays Reservation Tickets Available

November 29, 2021 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors are hosting the 8th Annual Taste of the Holidays, presented by Shelby Savings Bank, an eclectic culinary sampling and dining experience, on Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at the John D. Windham Civic Center.

Tickets are available to be purchased at the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce office. 

Space is limited and advance tickets are $15 per person. No tickets will be available at the door. 

Santa’s Christmas Parade “Christmas Through the Decades,” Entry Deadline Today

November 29, 2021 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Santa’s Christmas Parade Committee announces the 2021 parade will be held on Saturday, December 4th beginning at 6:00pm. The Parade is presented by the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce. The theme for this year’s parade is “Christmas Through the Decades”. 

Categories for the 2021 Parade will include: Individuals, Schools, Businesses, Churches and Civic Organizations. Judges will award cash prizes to the top three places in each category. The Float Competition Sponsor is the City of Center.

2021 Santa’s Christmas Parade "Christmas Through the Decades"

November 23, 2021 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce presents Santa's Christmas Parade "Christmas Through the Decades" at 6pm on Saturday, December 4, 2021.

The Rio Theatre will open concessions on parade day at 5pm. The movie showing will to be announced soon, so stay tuned!

Be apart of the 2021 Lighted Christmas Parade on our beautiful downtown square. Floats, pick up trucks, golf carts, bikes, walkers – all are welcome and encouraged to join in the fun!! There is no entrance fee.

Annual Taste of the Holidays 2021; Tickets Available

November 15, 2021 - Tickets are now on Sale for the Annual Taste of the Holidays, Sponsored by Shelby Savings Bank. The Taste of the Holidays will be Thursday, December 2 from 4:30-7:30 at the Windham Civic Center. Tickets are $15 per person. Children 5 and under are free. They may be purchased at the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce office located in the old jail next to the historic courthouse.

Lasting Impressions 25th Anniversary Celebration

November 8, 2021 - Lasting Impressions is celebrating their 25th Anniversary on Saturday, November 13th from 10:00am until 4:00pm. 

In March 1996, Paula Jones and Jill Baty started their businesses, Lasting Impressions and JB Classics, respectively. Their first location was with Kerri and Co., in the upstairs mezzanine. They moved to the Payne Building the next year. Soon after the move to the Payne building, Paula purchased JB Classics from Jill and the business became known as Lasting Impressions.
