April 25, 2018 - Parents of students living outside the Shelbyville Independent School District who wish their children to attend Shelbyville Schools during the 2018-19 school year must request transfer no later than May 29, 2018. This applies to both old and new transfer students. New transfers who are approved will be required to pay tuition to attend. To request paperwork, please call the Superintendent’s Office at 936-598-2641.

May 11, 2018 - Shelbyville High School will be holding Project Graduation this year on May 25, 2018. Project Graduation is a drug and alcohol free event that lasts all night. It provides a safe alternative for graduates who might otherwise be partying. It keeps graduates off the roads, prevents them from becoming an accident statistic, and gives their parents ease knowing their son/daughter is safely celebrating.
May 7, 2018 - The Dragons will face off against Douglass Friday, May 11 at 6:00 pm at Nacogdoches HS in the playoffs. The second game is Saturday, May 12 at 3:00 pm at Nacogdoches HS and game 3, if necessary will be following Game 2.
May 1, 2018 - Shelbyville Dragons play against Chireno at Chireno High School in a baseball playoff game on May 3 at 6pm. Game 2 will be in Shelbyville on May 4 at 4pm; game 3 will be played thirty minutes after game 2 if necessary.
