Shelbyville Retiree Athletic Passes

August 17, 2016 - Shelbyville I.S.D. is pleased to announce that all Shelbyville I.S.D. retirees will be admitted free of charge to home athletic events for the 16-17 school year by presenting a special pass. 

If you are a Shelbyville I.S.D. retiree and do not receive a pass by mail, please come by the administration office or call 598-2641.

 

Shelbyville Gold Card Athletic Passes

August 17, 2016 - Shelbyville I.S.D. is pleased to announce that Senior Citizens (age 65 or over) **Proof of Age and Residence Required** who reside in Shelbyville I.S.D. will be admitted free of charge to all Home Athletic Events for the 2016-17 school year, by presenting a Shelbyville I.S.D. Gold Card Pass.

Please come by the Shelbyville I.S.D. Administration Office at your convenience to pick up a Gold Card.

 

Shelbyville ISD to Continue Community Eligibility Program

August 16, 2016 - Shelbyville ISD will continue its policy to operate the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program for the 2016-17 school year.  Schools qualifying to operate CEP serve breakfast and lunch to all children at no charge.  This eliminates the need for collection of meal applications for free, reduced-priced, and paid student meals.

Huxley Helping Hands August Food Pantry

August 9, 2016 - Huxley Helping Hands, a local mission group is holding a food pantry for the residents of Shelby County. It will be held the second Saturday of August 2016.  Proof of residency & I.D. will be required. Only (1) box per household will be given.

The food pantry will be Saturday, August 13, 2016 starting at 9:00 a.m. until food is gone at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 901 Southview Circle, Center Texas.

Shelbyville HS FISH Camp

July 14, 2016 - Please mark your calendars for Thursday, August 04, 2016.  This is the date for FISH Camp(freshmen orientation) .  All Shelbyville High School incoming freshmen and their parents/guardians are encouraged to attend this orientation.  The orientation will begin at 12:00 p.m. in the Shelbyville Cafetorium and should conclude at approximately 2:00 p.m.  

Huxley Helping Hands Food Pantry

July 11, 2016 - Huxley Helping Hands, a local mission group from the Huxley Community, are holding a food pantry for the residents of Shelby County July 16th. Sign in starts at 9:00am and will last until food is gone. ID and Proof of Residency are required. Only one box per household. The food pantry will be held a Hillcrest Baptist Church at 901 Southview Circle Center, TX. 

1st Annual Shelbyville Dragon Football Camp

June 22, 2016 - The 1st Annual Shelbyville Dragon Football Camp is ready for kick-off starting Monday, June 27th. The camp is for incoming 6th graders through 9th graders and is Monday-Thursday, June 27th - 30th at Dragon Stadium.

Camp will be from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Camp Registration is $25.00 per camper and shirts will be distributed after camp is over. All campers must report to the Dragon Weight Room at 5:30pm on June 27-30.

What to Bring? - Grass Cleats, Sunscreen, A great attitude and the goal of improving your skills!

Revival at Lydia Missionary Baptist Church in Huxley

June 6, 2016 - Revival Services at Lydia Missionary Baptist Church Sunday, June 12 at 6pm and will continue Monday through Friday at 7pm each night.

There will be fellowship following Friday night’s service. Everyone is invited. Evangelist is Bro. David Long, Pastor of Jackson Baptist Church. Lydia MBC is located on FM 139 in Huxley.
