Shelbyville ISD Continues CEP for Free, Reduced-Price Meals

July 25, 2022 (Press Release in Spanish) - The Shelbyville ISD announced today it will continue its policy to operate the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program for the 2022-23 school year. Schools qualifying to operate CEP serve breakfast and lunch to all children at no charge and eliminate the collection of meal applications for free, reduced-price, and paid student meals.

Shelbyville HS Project Graduation Thank You Letter; Sponsor Recognition

June 2, 2022 - Thank you so much for your generous donation to the Shelbyville High School Project Graduation. We all want to thank you for committing to such a good cause for students. Project Graduation is an all-night drug- and alcohol-free event honoring graduates. It provides a safe alternative for graduates who might otherwise be partying. It keeps graduates off the roads, prevents them from becoming an accident statistic, and gives parents ease knowing their son/daughter is safely celebrating.

Shelbyville High School Baseball Area Round Playoffs

May 9, 2022 - The Dragons will play Centerville in the Baseball Area Round Playoffs starting, Wednesday, May 11 at Lufkin High School with the below schedule.

Game 1: Wednesday, May 11 at 7:00pm
Game 2: Saturday, May 14 at 4:00pm
Game 3: if needed: 30 minutes after game 2

Entry is $3 for students and $5 for Adults. Coaches, District, Military and Senior Passes will be accepted.

The team is lead by Coach Zach Hubbard.

Shelbyville I.S.D. Accepting Student Transfers

April 25, 2022 - Parents of students living outside the Shelbyville Independent School District who wish their children to attend Shelbyville Schools during the 2022-2023 school year must request transfer no later than June 1, 2022. This applies to both old and new transfer students. New transfers who are approved will be required to pay tuition to attend.
