May 4, 2018 - The Joaquin HS Softball playoff game scheduled to be played today (May 4th) at Nacogdoches High School has been moved to Jasper High School at 5:00 pm.
May 3, 2018 - Joaquin ISD plans to participate in the following Federal Programs during the 2018-2019 school year: Title I-Part A, Title I-Part C Migrant, Title II-Part A, Title III-Part A- LEP, Title IV, Part A, Carl D. Perkins – Title I, Part C and IDEA-B. Teachers, Paraprofessionals, Principals, Other School Personnel, Parents, Community Members and Business Representatives are invited to the 2018-2019 ESSA Consolidated Application meeting on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 5:30p.m. in the Administration Building Board Room.
May 2, 2018 - The Joaquin ISD School Board met April 26, 2018 in regular session at 4:00 p.m. in the Joaquin Boardroom with the following members present: Chrisco Bragg, Ronnie Belrose, Tam Hearnsberger, Thomas Harvey, Brandon Neal, Bill Mason, Jr (arrived at 453 p.m.) and Jeff Cater. No board members were absent and no guests were present.
April 25, 2018 - The Joaquin Lady Rams will play against Latexo in the Playoffs starting April 27. All Games will be played at Jacksonville High School with the following schedule:
Game 1 - 5:00 pm, Friday, April 27
Game 2 - 11:00 am, Saturday, April 28
Game 3 - Will follow game 2 if necessary
April 23, 2018 - Notice is hereby given that on the 26th day of April 2018 the Board of Trustees of the Joaquin School District will hold a regular meeting at 4:00 p.m., at the Administration building, Joaquin, Texas.
April 23, 2018 - Joaquin High School sophomore, Abi Hooper, participated in the Region III-AA Academic Meet held at Panola College last week. Abi won 1st Place in the Ready Writing and will advance to compete in the 2018 Academic UIL State Meet on the University of Texas at Austin campus on May 4.
April 20, 2018 - Joaquin Elementary Students participated in the PASTA FOR PENNIES program with the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society again this year. The dates were March 19, 2018-April 6, 2018. LLS helps to find a cure for blood cancers and improve the quality of life for patients and their families. Every 3 minutes someone is diagnosed with blood cancer. Every 9 minutes someones loses that battle. Blood cancers can affect any age, from babies to the elderly.
Joaquin Elementary Students collected a total of $2,730.04.
