Joaquin ISD Minutes of School Board Meeting for Nov 13th

November 14, 2017 - The Joaquin ISD School Board met Monday, November 13, 2017 in regular session at 6:00 p.m. in the Joaquin Boardroom with the following members present: Chrisco Bragg, Ronnie Belrose, Thomas Harvey, Brandon Neal and Tam Hearnsberger. Board members absent were Bill Mason, Jr. and Jeff Cater. Guest present was Daniel Rainey, Goff & Herrington, P.C.. Joaquin ISD employees present were Phil Worsham, Superintendent; Joel Bumback, Director of Finance; Jimmy Jackson, High School Principal; Terri Gray, Jr.

Joaquin Bi-District Playoff Information

November 13, 2017 - The Joaquin Rams will play against Centerville in the Bi-District Playoff at Tyler All Saints (Mewbourne Field, 2695 S. SW. Loop 323, Tyler, TX 75701) on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 7:30pm. Joaquin will be the visitors. Tickets are sold at the gate are $5 adult and $3 children. Passes accepted are THSCA, THSWCA, District 11 and 12 Pass, and Senior Citizen.

October 18, 2017 - Red ribbon week October 23-27, 2017

Dress up Days:

  • Monday: Wear Red! Wear red to show your support for drug free!
  • Tuesday: Pajama Day! Don’t get caught sleeping, say NO to drugs!
  • Wednesday: Cap/Hat Day! Put a cap on drugs!
  • Thursday: Wear bright colors! My future is too bright for drugs!
  • Friday: Wear school colors! Joaquin Rams are drug free!

Joaquin ISD Statement Regarding Potential Threat

October 6, 2017 - Joaquin ISD received information regarding an anonymous text message from an unknown number containing a potential threat to the school. The authorities were contacted and an investigation is being conducted.  Upon initial investigation, it was determined there was no immediate danger to any of your children or Joaquin ISD staff. The anonymous text was not intended for Joaquin ISD. Authorities have contacted the out of state school where it was intended.
