Shelby County Outreach Ministry Holiday Food Needs

November 28, 2018 - Shelby County Outreach Ministries is seeking donations to help cover the holiday season. Due to weather, the need for emergency food boxes has grown tremendously. 

We are in need of canned veggies, canned soups, peanut butter, instant mashed potatoes, chili, tuna, canned ham, spaghetti sauce, and spaghetti noodles. 

Together we can feed the hungry and assist the needy. Thank you for your support.  

'Giving Tuesday' Encourages Giving Back to Charities, Communities

November 27, 2018 - Today is #GivingTuesday, which is day set aside for donating and giving back to charities and your community. This Giving Tuesday, I ask that you consider donating to Shelby County Outreach Ministries, Inc. We have been serving Shelby County for over 20 years now. We have multiple programs that help in many ways. We run off donations from our community. Help us help others this season. You can mail donations to: P.O. Box 1029 Center, TX 75935.

Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner at Senior Nutrition Site

November 20, 2018 - Shelby County Outreach Ministries, Inc. is having our annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner! This will be on Thanksgiving Day, November 22nd, 2018 at the Senior Nutrition Site. It will be from 11:00 am thru 1:00 pm. Come and bring the family! We would love to have you! If you are interested in a to-go plate or want to volunteer, call Mrs. Dee at 5968-7768.

SCOM Closing for Thanksgiving

November 19, 2018 - Shelby County Outreach Ministries, Inc. will be closing all programs for the Thanksgiving holiday.  We will closed beginning at 12 noon on Wednesday, November 21st thru Friday, November 23rd. 

All programs will open again on Monday, November 26th. 

We are sorry for the inconvenience. We hope you all have a blessed Thanksgiving Holiday.

Shelby County Outreach Ministries Canned Food Drive at Woodforest National Bank

November 13, 2018 - Shelby County Outreach Ministries offers thanks to Woodforest National Bank in Center.

Woodforest National Bank is having a canned food drive to support Shelby County Outreach Ministries, Inc. from November 13th thru December 1st. So while you are shopping at Wal-Mart, please pick up a few extra cans of food and drop them off at Woodforest National Bank, which is located inside the store! Thank you for your support!

Pleasant Grove MBC Hosting Fall Festival

November 2, 2018 - Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church is hosting a Fall Festival on Saturday, November 10, 2018. Festival begins at 5:30pm.

Come enjoy carnival themed games, candy for the kids, food and drinks, cake walk, hayride, camp fire, weenie roast and more!

Join in on the fun-filled evening for the entire family! Pleasant Grove MBC wants you to have a fun and blessed time!
