April 28, 2021 - Crawfish for Cancer will be held Saturday, May 1st, from 10am until 5pm at the First Baptist Haslam Church located next to Brookshire Brothers in Joaquin. $5 per pound and every 5lbs comes with 1 corn and 2 potatoes. There will also be a bake sale! All proceeds go to Boo's Battle Support Fund to help families battling cancer. You can preorder now until Tuesday, April 27th.

October 20, 2020 - The Tenaha ISD 2020 Homecoming is slated for Friday, October 23rd. The Tenaha High School student body elected duchesses and student organizations chose their sweethearts to represent Tenaha High School Homecoming Court 2020. The Homecoming Court will be presented and the crowning of the Homecoming Queen will take place during Friday’s pregame activities following Senior Night Recognition and Hall of Honor Presentation. Pregame activities begin at 6:25pm.
October 12, 2020 - A time honored tradition continues at Tenaha Independent School District. Tenaha ISD recognizes those that have displayed outstanding dedication and commitment to their community. Through the years numerous members have been initiated into the Hall of Honor.
August 17, 2020 - Thank you for your consideration to be a part of our Adopt-A-Tiger program. We are very excited the capabilities this program has for both our student/athletes and our community. Through this program the goal is very simple, develop a relationship outside of sport to supply support to the student/athlete. It’s our hope this program will not just be beneficial to the student/athlete but also the mentoring family. It’s my hope that if you feel this is a program you can help with that you join our team and begin building a relationship with a Tiger!
April 1, 2020 - What a great turnout yesterday by the entire Tenaha school family to drive through and pick up their distance learning packets and materials. The administration team is extremely proud to report that 91% of our students are accounted for and working on their instructional materials from home.
March 25, 2020 - At 10am starting on Monday, March 30th and everyday, Monday through Friday, and thereafter for the duration of the Covid-19 Lockdown, Tenaha ISD will offer Free Breakfast and Lunch to ALL CHILDREN within the TISD residential lines. We will be offering lunches for the day plus breakfast for the next day every day.
March 4, 2020 - The Tigers advance to the Region 3 AA Tournament to be held March 6th and 7th in Bryan, TX. The Tenaha Tigers will take on the Grapeland Sandies, Friday, March 6th, at 6pm. The Tigers will be the visiting team. Winner advances to Game 3 to be held on Saturday, March 7th at 1:00pm.
Tenaha ISD will release at 11:30 am on Friday to allow for travel time.
January 2, 2020 - The 11th Annual Holiday Hoops Basketball Tournament began December 26, the day after Christmas, and included over 70 games played in three days in five great venues.
