TxDOT Project Updates, Schedules for March 25-29

March 22, 2019 Lufkin – With warmer weather and sunshine comes plenty of work on Lufkin District construction and maintenance projects. Many work zones include lane or shoulder closures or pilot cars to guide traffic through the work area.

“Motorists should remain patient and reduce their speed when they approach a work zone,” said Rhonda Oaks, public information officer for the district. “There is always moving equipment and many workers in the area. Motorists should stay alert and obey all signage for their own safety as well as for the safety of our workers.”
