June 1, 2016 - Timpson Masonic Lodge #437 held a ceremony and luncheon on Saturday May 21, 2016 honoring Timpson residents, lodge members and recente graduates.

May 30, 2016 - The Timpson Chapter 1144 Order of the Eastern Star raffle winner was Jim Lee of Shreveport, LA. Jims name was drawn on the 16th of May at the stated meeting. The presentation was made by member Jesse Maynard.

May 27, 2016 - Recently the XYZ Homemakers club sold raffle tickets on a quilt they produced. Bobbie Nutt sold the most tickets and one of the tickets she sold was drawn.
