Beekeeping Program Presents to Hemphill HS Garden Club

February 24, 2016 - Local beekeepers Mike and Linda Bordelon, who own and operate Heavenly Honey Apiary on Toledo Bend at Huxley, presented a program to the Hemphill High School Garden Club, "Cabbage Patch Kids" on February 22. Students were able to ask questions and share their knowledge of bees during the discussion.

Former Huxley Man Featured in Tyler Paper for Heroic Act

Andrew Dolan, formerly of Huxley and now a coach at Whitehouse High School, was featured in an article published by Tyler Morning Telegraph. Dolan went fishing and at the end of his fishing trip had the catch of the day, a man who was in danger of drowning on Lake Tyler.
