January 21, 2016 - Tri-County Community Action (TCCA) was the recipient of a $2,500 donation from Whataburger to benefit their food pantry program, "Harvest for Homes".

January 20, 2016 - Tyson Foods donated to CASA of Deep East Texas in Center Texas over the Christmas Holidays. CASA is very grateful to supporters like Tyson as CASA operates solely from grants and donations. CASA is a non-profit organization and advocates for the children in foster care in Shelby County.

January 19, 2016 - Marissa Cooper graduated Air Force Basic Training on Friday, December 4, 2015 from Lackland Air Force Base, Texas San Antonio, Texas. She is currently in technical training in San Antonio for security forces. Her first duty station following technical training is Maelstrom AFB, Montana.
