Boil Water Notice Rescinded on December 8, 2017

On December 5, 2017, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the San Augustine Rural Water System, #2030007, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

Grace Manor Christmas Gift Needs

December 6, 2017 - Grace Manor is trying to help provide one Christmas present for each of our foster children. We have over 70 children under our care now, so this is a big task! We are asking for help from our community to make sure all of our children have a nice Christmas.

We have asked our foster parents to turn in to us one gift idea (between $35 and $50) that each of their foster children would like. We have these gift ideas available at our office to be picked up and purchased. We are asking that you return the wrapped gifts by December 7th.

The Kroger Company Recalls Comforts FOR BABY Purified Water with Fluoride

December 5, 2017 - The Kroger Company has recalled Comforts FOR BABY Purified Water with Fluoride Added 1 GAL (3.78 L) with sell by dates from 4/26/2018 to 10/10/2018, after receiving complaints about mold in the product. Testing by Kroger has identified the mold as Talaromyces penicillium. The water is sold in clear containers, but the mold may not be visible with the naked eye.

The FDA is issuing this consumer alert to reach parents and caregivers who may have bought the product, which is intended for infants.
