January 15, 2019 - A special called meeting of the Board of Trustees of Center Independent School District (CISD) was held on Monday, January 14, 2019, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Center Independent School District Administration Building located at 107 Private Road in Center, Texas 75935.

January 14, 2019 - Center High School junior Mark Perkins placed third and was voted the Outstanding Presiding Officer at the UIL State Congressional Debate tournament in the 4A conference at the state capitol on Jan 9. 

December 20, 2018 - Greetings! Center ISD brings news as we close the first half of the school year.

Academic Program

Our primary objective is to focus on literacy, with a targeted emphasis on reading. Specifically, we are working to have every student reading on or above grade level by the third grade and each student make at least a year’s worth of academic growth in reading. Our local indicators show that we are making great progress toward our goal. Other subjects and programs are advancing as well.
