Center Tennis Team Competing in Regional Semifinals, Watch on Facebook

October 25, 2018 - The CHS Tennis Team is in the playoffs! To this point, they won their district contests, the bi-district, and the area round in shut-outs, winning all the games. Monday at the Regional Quarterfinals, the Team beat Palestine 10 games to 3.

This morning (October 25th) they compete in the Regional Semifinals -- or the Sweet 16 -- in Bryan against Lamar Fulshire, a new school built only last year. Center is ranked #1 in the Region, but Lamar should prove a good test.

Center High School All A, A/B Honor Rolls for 1st 9 Weeks (Corrected)

October 24, 2018 - Center High School announces the all A and all A/B Honor Rolls for first 9 weeks of the 2018-2019 school year. Students have maintained an above 90 average in all subjects or an above 80 average in all subjects in order to be listed on the Honor Roll.

Center ISD Announces Riders of the Week, October 22nd - 26th

Bond Construction Begins at Center Elementary

October 23, 2018 - Construction at Center Elementary School has begun following a 30 million dollar bond passed in May.

The project consists of nearly doubling the available parking and increasing the number of places where students are picked up and dropped off.

Center Elementary School Reading Campout

October 22, 2018 - The Center Elementary School is hosting a Reading Campout on Monday, October 22 and Tuesday, October 23. Please choose one night per family.

The Reading Camp is from 5:30pm until 7pm nightly.

Please join us for a fun filled night of reading, hotdogs, S’mores, games and hayrides.

Center Tennis Team Wins Area Championship with Clean Sweep 19-0

October 19, 2018 - The Center Tennis Team are Area Champions after a clean sweep 19-0 over Gatesville last night in Madisonville.

The Riders will now face Palestine in the Region Quarterfinals on Monday, October 22 in Henderson. The match is set to begin by 4pm.

UIL Debate Takes Four of Top Six Spots at Tournament

October 18, 2018 - Members of the UIL Academic Team traveled to Union Grove for an Invitational Congressional Debate tournament. There were five schools at the tournament and over 20 debaters. Center HS debaters took 4 of the top 6 medals.

Joaquin Rams vs. Timpson Bears Location Change

October 17, 2018 - The Joaquin Rams vs. Timpson Bears football game will be played in Center Friday night, October 19, 2018, at 7:30 p.m. The game has been moved due to Timpson's current field conditions.

This should also allow both bands to perform at halftime to prepare for the marching contest the next day.
