CHS Theater Presents: "The Secret Affairs of Mildred Wild"

March 16, 2016 (Update) - The 2016 One-Act Play performance which was scheduled for March 10th was rained out and has been reschedule to Tuesday March 22 at 6:30pm. Admission is still $2 for adults, $1 for students and the evening will still feature a good beginning scene as a "curtain opener." The performance precedes district contest scheduled for Thursday, March 24 at 1:00 pm at Panola College.

Center HS Class of 2016 Senior Celebration Tonight

February 23, 2016 - The Center High School Class of 2016 would like to invite everyone to the 16th annual Senior Celebration.

Senior Celebration is a chance for family, friends, and community members to share in a night dedicated to celebrating the accomplishments and approaching graduation of the senior class.

Senior Celebration will be held Monday, February 29 at 6:00 p.m. in the high school cafetorium.

Roughriders Advance to Regional Quarter Finals (UPDATE)

February 29, 2016 - Roughrider Basketball has advanced to Regional Quarter Finals! The first game will be Center Roughriders v Diboll Lumberjacks on Tuesday, Mar. 1 at 7:30 PM. Roughriders are the home team. Tickets will be sold at the gate - $6 adults, $4 students

The Riders will play the Lumberjacks at William R. Johnson Coliseum located at 700 E. College St. Nacogdoches, TX 75964.

Shelby Savings Bank Shows Support for CHS Basketball

February 26, 2016 - Shelby Savings Bank, represented by Lorei Shoate and Josh Jones, visited Center High School to bring goodie bags and show their support for the Varsity Basketball team, who will play in the second round of the playoffs tonight against Madisonville.  The game will be hosted at Lufkin Middle School at 7 p.m. Tickets will be sold at the gate - $5 adults, $3 students.

Center ISD Student's State Qualifying Animation To Be Shown at Nac Film Festival

February 25, 2016 - Morgan Ray has advanced to the state finals in traditional animation to be held in Austin, Texas in March.

Ray is a junior at Center HS and a student of Center HS teacher Adan Ramirez. Her work will be viewed at The Historic Paramount Theatre in Austin, Texas as well as featured at the Nacogdoches Film Festival this coming weekend, February 25th-27th.

Ramirez says she has put all the time and effort to achieve this goal. We wish her the best at state!
