April 8, 2016 - Center Middle School Beta Club attended the local Lions Club Thursday, April 7 at the John D. Windham Civic Center. The students shared their achievements at the Junior Beta State Convention.
April 8, 2016 - The Texas Association of Basketball Coaches has named Octavius Evans of Center High School to the TABC All-Region Team. Evans was also named the Most Valuable player of the All-County Boys Basketball Team.
April 8, 2016 - The Center Roughrider boys soccer team has won their semi-final game 2-0. There will be a fan bus going to go College Station for next round of playoff Saturday, April 9, 2016.
Everyone planning to ride the bus is asked to be in the high school parking lot by 5:30am Saturday morning so the bus can leave at 6am. For adults to ride it is $5 and $3 for students. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, and anyone 5 and under is free to ride.

April 7, 2016 - The Center High School Theatre Department invites you to see the Advanced Players presentation of Jack Heifner's Home Fires on Thursday April 21 and Saturday April 23 on the CHS Stage.
Home Fires is the story of an East Texas family during World War II who try to make ends meet with their boarding house. Their boarders are mostly women, trying to keep the "home fires burning" while the men are away at war. The house full of extended family shares laughs, love and heart ache.
April 7, 2016 - Center Youth Baseball is partnering with the Houston Astros by participating in their Future Astros Program. Part of this program allows CYB to have a Day at Minute Maid Park. Sunday May 22 @ 1:10 The Houston Astros will take on the Texas Rangers. CYB is offered tickets at a much discounted price. Anyone may purchase tickets at these discounted prices.
April 7, 2016 - Yesterday, the Center FFA Forestry Teams competed in a multi-district Forestry Contest at the Attoyac Farms in Chireno, TX. Competing were 26 teams from 5 Districts.
April 6, 2016 - The Artisan is CISD's literary magazine, which is published once per semester. The magazine includes work from every campus in many catagories: poetry, short stories, essays, paintings, drawings, photography, graphic designs etc.
